Welcome to My Personal Page
I have always been impressed with my twin sister. Since our very first days, she was my best friend. She taught me how to tie my shoes and how to skip. My favorite childhood memories are centered around Meg. As we grew older, she became more and more important to me. She was by my side on all of my biggest days--when I became a wife and later a mom. She understood all of my facial expressions. Following our lead, our husbands and daughters became best friends. Life is more fun when it's shared.
Meg's cancer diagnosis did not break her; she was the strongest and most hopeful woman I have ever known. I am so proud to be her twin. Meg's last three years were terrible--and wonderful. From hot air balloon rides and European adventures to movie nights and football games, we made the most of all the days we got. But there weren't enough. Now we will continue Meg's legacy of fighting for more tomorrows. It's my turn to make her proud.
I hope you will join in my effort to find a cure.
