Hello everyone! 

My name is Alex and I am walking and fundraising for the Boston Brain Tumor Walk for the 8th year in a row!! I am excited to raise money again for this awesome organization!

The official walk will be held at Carson Beach on October 22nd. However, team Kathy’s Krew will be walking Castle Island on Saturday, November 4th at 11AM in her honor! If you would like to celebrate with us,  please RSVP with me and submit your donation directly instead of registering. (:

As time goes on and milestones go by (Patrick's wedding & Haley's 30th birthday being the biggest news of 2023!), we keep my mom in our hearts. I would give anything to have her here to celebrate all these big moments, but I know she's smiling down on us and is so proud.

Kathy fearlessly fought her brain cancer for two years before passing in 2012, making this the 11th year anniversary. My mom was more than just a mother: she was a sister, a wife, an aunt and friend to all. We will never forget her big infectious laugh and silly humor. She was the absolute best mother and role model I could ever ask for and we miss her every second of every day. 

The smallest donation will go such a long way and help out so many others affected by this disease in the future. Even if you are unable to make a donation, please help me reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 by forwarding my message along.
