Noëlle's Symphony
We are extremely thankful for everyone who donated or participated to help us reach and exceed our fundraising goals since the very first race in 2018!
Please join us for the 7th annual RVA Brain Tumor 5K - it will be held at Bryan Park! I know my sister, NoëlIe, and brother, Philip, are smiling down that we are continuing to raise awareness and helping other families who have to go through this facing the same diagnosis.
We will continue with our team name since Philip was the one that came up with it. Philip started our team “Noëlle’s Symphony” in her memory. We would love you to join us for this event and we will walk with Noëlle's favorite quote and maxim in mind - "do small things with great love." The team name, Noëlle's Symphony, is inspired by the song: Symphony by Clean Bandit. It is a touching song which he listened to a lot while Noëlle was sick. "The song describes - as the lyrics and music video make very clear - the feeling of wanting to be close to someone you love and how one person can give your life so much meaning where without that person, it would not. Noëlle is a part of our symphony and I think we were all a part of Noëlle's Symphony. And while she's gone we keep playing on with her memory and spirit in mind." - Philip Loving
I hope you can join us in supporting all those affected by brain cancer as we take another step forward in finding new therapies to treat this disease. If you are unable to make the walk, you can always make a donation on our team page!
