Eff Jerry

Father's Day weekend 2015, our lives changed forever. At age 32 my husband Patrick suffered a seizure, which led to the startling diagnosis of a malignant, golf-ball sized brain tumor whom we unaffectionately dubbed "Jerry."
Smit courageously gave his all against Jerry for over four long years. Amid chemo/radiation/transfusions/steroids, through amazing support of family and friends we never gave up hope and packed many good times into those four years, as well as welcomed our beautiful daughter, Norah.

We refused to let a brain cancer diagnosis dictate our lives.

But to our heartbreaking dismay, ultimately the countless treatments Smit endured proved futile, as there is still no cure for brain tumors.

Together and in Smit's memory, we can continue the fight to change this ending by raising vital funds to one day prevent families from enduring the devastation this disease too often currently brings.

Our daughter Norah and I very much hope you'll join in our efforts to find a cure for brain tumors once and for all. We are so grateful for so many donations in years passed and hope this fifth year is our best yet.

Much Love and Prayers for Good Health,

Stine and Norah
