Team Stella
We are walking in support of Stella, a beautiful and loving 7-year-old girl who is forever a part of our school community and a friend to many of our children. She bravely battled 9 months against DIPG starting in Fall of 2024. She will live on in our hearts and be the inspiration to fight for a cure. This particular cancer has the lowest survival rates of all cancers (less than 1%) and that is something that needs to change. We walk to fight for all children and families who face this battle and hope that someday we can change the outcome of this disease.
We are setting our team goal to $7k towards the mission of NBTS, as we look to raise $1k for every year Stella impacted those around her with her beautiful heart!
NBTS is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. NBTS aggressively drives strategic research; advocates for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and provides comprehensive patient, family, and caregiver resources.
