Welcome to My Personal Page
10 years ago, I had craniotomy surgery to remove a cystic ganglioglioma tumor.
I was very fortunate for the tumor itself to be benign and to have experienced little to no side effects since my surgery.
Fast forward to today, I am married to my amazing husband, a proud mom of a 1-year-old baby girl, and a middle school special education teacher. NEVER GIVE UP & DECIDE WHAT TO BE AND GO BE IT
The name Brain Grapes is from what my best friend and I would refer to my tumor as. This coping mechanism allowed me to maintain a positive attitude and mindset throughout the experience.
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. Please join in my effort!
