Hello friends and family,

Welcome to Team Upstate! Team Billy is embarking upon a milestone year, TWENTY, wow! However, it is also bittersweet, as it’s sadly the last year my family will be running the event. As mentioned in the past, Team Billy was started in honor of my brother, Billy, who lost his fight to a brain tumor in 2001. To date, the event has raised over $2.9M to help fund promising brain tumor research grants. Although I’m extremely proud of my parents who have truly made a difference within the brain tumor community, they could not have done it without people like you. Thank you! And while it’s my family’s last year to host what we’ve come to know as Team Billy, the initiative is expected to continue in some form in the future. I’m therefore hopeful my brother’s legacy, and beneficial fundraising for brain tumor research will continue for years to come.
