Welcome to My Personal Page
This year I will participating in the Bay area brain tumor walk.
This cause is very dear to my heart and has had an impact on so many. I started this team in honor of my step dad, Daryl, he passed away many years ago from brain cancer. He was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma (GBM) grade IV, this is the most aggressive malignant primary brain tumor.
2 years agoI lost a very dear friend to a GBM as well. Dianna was an amazing person who loved with her whole heart. She was one of the most genuine, caring, kind hearted people you will ever meet. I miss her so much.
GBMs are terminal, therefore they do not get near as much funding for research and education. We have got to find new treatments!!! Please donate, every dollar helps
More money needs to be raised for research, education, and to help out families suffering from brain tumors. This type of cancer is so aggressive that median survival without treatment is 3 to 4 months and with treatment 12 to 16 months. Part of the reason is the struggle to find drugs that can cross the blood-brain barrier and act on the tumor. This is where research is needed!! So please help out and donate whatever you can, every dollar helps.
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause so I am taking action!
