Northern California Brain Tumor Walk

Team Crissy

Welcome to Team Crissy!

This team was formed in 2016, about 6 months after Crissy was diagnosed with a grade three Anaplastic Astrocytoma brain tumor. After immediate surgery to remove as much as could be safely removed, radiation and chemo, her tumor has been behaving and staying stable. We want it to stay that way till a cure is discovered.

Crissy is a part time preschool teacher, full time mom of 7 and 8 year olds, and wife to an Oakland fire fighter. She stays healthy with a careful nutritious diet , exercise, and life style.

Team Crissy would love to have you join us in walking or donating to help us gain research and find a cure. Brain tumor cancer is one of the cancers that has not advanced in developement of new treatments over the past 2 decades. We need more awareness, research, and funding to find a cure --- and this is why we are asking you to join us in our fight.

Go Team Crissy!

 Thank you so very much!

Mary Abbey, Crissy's mom and Team Captain
