Northern California Brain Tumor Walk

Little Death Star

Hello Friends & Family,
Our team is walking and raising funds in hopes to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. We are passionate about thiscause because the love of Tammy Kelly-Nielson's life of 29 years, Matthew Keith Nielson, was directly impacted by one the worst diagnoses of brain cancer. Glioblastoma Multiforme or GBM is a terminal, very aggressive brain cancer. All GBMs are grade IV. Matt had a positive attitude and followed the recommended standard of care of radiation and chemotherapy. Unfortunately the advances in GBM treatment has not changed in over 20 years. After less than 15 months, the tumor continued to grow and Matt was placed in home hospice. His final wish was to have his brain donated to a bank in hopes that it could help find a cure. We need your help in this fight against this disease. Please join in our effort by making any donation! And by spreading this fundraising mission.
