Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello, my name is Joshua Shapiro, and I'm proud to participate in the Boston Brain Tumor Bike Ride to support my mom, Lisa (captain of Lisa's Riders), who has been battling a brain tumor for 29 years. Her strength and resilience inspire me every day.
As a child, I watched my mom undergo multiple surgeries, and in October 2022, she underwent her fourth surgery to continue her fight against this disease. Despite the setbacks, she never gave up, and she continues to overcome any limitations that stand in her way. To this day, she remains my role model and the strongest person I know.
But my mom’s story is not unique. Every year, 25 thousand people are diagnosed with brain tumors, and the impact on their lives and the lives of their loved ones is immeasurable. That's why I'm not just doing this for my mom, but for everyone affected by this devastating disease.
By supporting me and donating to the National Brain Tumor Society, you'll make a real difference in the lives of those affected by brain tumors. Every dollar counts, no matter how small, and your contribution will help fund critical research and bring us closer to a cure.
So please, join me in the fight against brain tumors by making a donation today. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most. Thank you for your time, contribution, and love.
