National Brain Tumor Ride

Team Andrew

Team Andrew is riding in honor of my uncle, Dr. Andrew Citron, who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM) in July 2021. He fought a tireless, courageous battle against the disease for over two years until he unfortunately passed away in August 2023.

My uncle Andrew was such a kind, thoughtful, and funny person; his passion for life left an impact on anyone and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. My uncle's love for life, his family, his friends, his hobbies, and sunsets at Long Beach Island was so apparent. This disease took him from us too early.

Living with GBM for over two years is considered to be a "long term" survivor. Only very recently has there been extensive research for therapies to treat and cure GBM, and it is by creating awareness and donating to supporting causes that we can support this research.

Our team is excited to join forces with the National Brain Tumor Society by participating in the National Brain Tumor Ride in honor of Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Please support our efforts by either registering to join our team or consider making a donation to one of our team member's fundraising efforts. The National Brain Tumor Society is committed to conquering and curing brain tumors — once and for all
