Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello,
My mother was my best friend!
I never really knew about Brain tumors or Glioblastoma until one day my mom - best freind was diagnose.
As I stood in the ER with her on April 28th 2010 our whole world have changed. And mom didn't even know what was going on, she wanted to leave the hospital to go home and I couldn't let her.
Walking out of the hospital that night thinking oh my! did this really just happen to my mom.
I stood by her side everyday until her last day with us. She was a great fighter and kept her head up high my favorite line she would say to the doctor after he told her how long she had to live was
" I'm not an average person so I will live longer then that "
and she did she showed us.
She was only 60 starting to live her life like she should, I called her a flower like she was just starting to bloom.
And watching her was like watching a kid it was amazing.
But the beast of a Glioblastoma tumor, It took her life and change my family's life's.
Marie was an amazing person. She was a friend, a mother, a wounderful grandmother. She would open her door to anyone in need.
And know that door is gone.
She was always there for me and my kids. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her and wish for her back. I've give anything to have her back....
So with that I am raising money to help support family's, care givers, one that are fighting the battle and many more, thank you.
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. Please join in my effort!
