Named in honor of Donald Backner and one of his favorite names to lovingly call you...BANANAHEAD! On February 15, 2016 Don was diagnosed with a GBM and despite the best care at Dana Farber and Brigham & Woman's Hospital he lost his battle in August.
We are excited an honored to walk in Dons memory as well as the memory of Erwin Bosler his father in law. We have set up the team in Doug's name since he is named after both Don and Erwin and will carry on the legacy they both left.
