Join the Fight to Cure GBM Hope Lives On 4Jack
In July 2021, my dad, John "Jack" Foley, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma at just 49 years old. Despite facing one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer, he never stopped fighting, showing incredible courage for 13 months before passing in August 2022. My dad's courage and determination continue to inspire everyone who knew him.
Glioblastoma does not discriminate – it can strike anyone, regardless of age or background. My father’s story is just one of many, but together, we have the power to change the future. Currently, there is no cure for Glioblastoma (the most common malignant brain and central nervous system tumors, accounting for 47.7% of all cases), but with your support, we can drive research, raise awareness, and push for breakthroughs to end the suffering caused by this devastating disease.
I’m uniting with the 4Jack team to honor my dad’s memory and make a difference in the fight against brain cancer. Your contribution could help prevent other families from experiencing the unbearable heartbreak we did. Together, we can work toward a world without Glioblastoma.
Hope lives on.
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
