I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma in January of 2022 and then on June 29th of that year, underwent a 12 hour surgery to remove the tumor entirely. I never would have imagined myself being told I had a brain tumor, just a month before my 20th birthday, or having to go through brain surgery.
