Shawn Strong
Never in a thousand years could I have imagined that brain cancer would affect my family. In March 2019, Shawn Walder learned of his Glioblastoma (GBM) diagnosis. Shawn was a loving husband, father of two adult children, brother, son, Godfather, uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, co-worker, neighbor, and friend to many. He loved to golf, snowmobile and is an avid Boston Bruins fan. While alive, he was committed to educating others about his diagnosis, participating in the event in 2019, and despite his positive attitude and treatments, he did not survive. #cancersucks
Please consider joining our team #ShawnStrong in his memory or make a tax-deductible donation so that we can make a difference in the fight. Your donation or participation will allow the Brain Tumor Society to continue supporting research and public policy to improve the availability of new and better treatments and fuel the discovery of a cure for brain tumors. His family and I are passionate about this cause.
There are several ways to support the cause and help us meet our team goal of at least $ 3,500. Please join us at 9 am on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Boston, become a virtual walker, or make a tax-deductible donation. Your support would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us.
Thank you in advance for your time, consideration, and generosity. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
