Thanks for considering joining our Miles for Mike team! With only 4 approved treatments for Glioblastoma Multiforme, we hope our fundraising efforts can bring us one step closer to finding a cure. The National Brain Tumor Society is hosting a 5K event in October 2023, to raise funds and awareness for brain tumor research. Donations help fund clinical trials, amplify hospital resources, provide treatment opportunities for patients, and support for their family members. Last year, our team came together in support of my dad, Mike Sokolowski, and the thousands of other GBM warriors & families experiencing similar battles. Our Miles 4 Mike team was able to raise $11,000 in one month, and though Mike could not attend the event in person, he could not thank everyone enough for the support that was shown & the funds that we raised. After losing his battle to GBM last October, our team feels there is no better time than now, to make a difference in brain cancer research & treatment. Every penny counts!
