New England Brain Tumor Walk

Scott Strong

On July 18, 2023, my husband Scott was diagnosed with Glioblastoma!  In an instant, our lives were shattered and forever changed!  Scott quickly underwent surgery, followed by five weeks of chemo and radiation therapy, which ultimately had no effect on his tumor.
Despite the hell he endured, Scott remained strong and positive throughout his battle.  Whenever someone would say that it was unfair this was happening to him...Scott always replied, "it's unfair for anyone going through this, I'm not special." As his full-time caregiver I witnessed this evil disease quickly rip life away from him. First it robbed him of his passions like work and golf, then onto basic functions like showering, walking, eating and toileting. Brain cancer is in a hellish league of it's own!!
Scott won his battle with this evil disease on January 2, 2024 after a 5 month battle.
