Remembering Pearl and Walter

Once again, our New England Brain Tumor Walk team, made up of family and friends of Pearl and Walter, (my mother and my life partner) will walk in to commemorate the lives of two very special people who died of glioblastoma multiforme eleven months apart in 2007.  Raising money for the Brain Tumor Society is one of the ways I deal with grief.  The Brain Tumor Society supports research which will one day result in a cure for even the most aggressive types of brain tumors.  I draw inspiration from Senator Ted Kennedy's words:

"The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."

Please join us as we honor the lives of Walter and Pearl, two remarkable and beloved people.
