Welcome to My Personal Page
This Halloween, I will be 12 years tumor free. I had a fairly common type of brain tumor, but there is still no cure or definitive cause for it. I have even been told there is a 50/50 chance it could reoccur. Still, I am a lucky one. Others are still fighting and still looking for a positive future. Last year I walked for a special woman in my life. My Math Partner in Crime Dana was diagnosed with an meningioma this past spring. Dana was my co-teacher in my little 7th grade math class. She is now tumor free and back in the classroom. Dana is also a lucky one. We both know that and want this luck for all who suffer from any sort of brain tumor. Please consider supporting me as I walk for a search for a cure and for a future for everyone who has been effected by a brain tumor and for Dana. We will be walking for a cure this year. I will be joining my team and teams from all over New England and will be walking on October 22. I will not be walking in Boston as I will be away. But, I WILL BE WALKING.
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause so I am taking action!
National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) is a putting the search for a cure into overdrive. Progress is being made, but there is so much more to be done. Please support my efforts!
