New England Brain Tumor Walk

A Team

As you may know I lost my husband, best friend and father to my children to a brain tumor - a grade III astrocytoma to be specific. This aggressively deadly disease took Johnny's life in 5 short months. He missed his daughter's 2nd birthday, the birth of his son and endless memories and milestones to follow. This disease changed our lives and robbed us of so much. I walk on October 22 in Johnny's honor and for those who have battled and continue to battle this grave disease. Help our team, the A Team, to contribute to a difference in the fight, research, treatment of brain tumors. Johnny was blessed to be treated by the very best in Boston with providers at BIDMC, BWH, & DFCI. Through no fault of these intelligent minds there was just not enough we could do for him. Let's change that for others in his honor.

I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
