New England Brain Tumor Walk

MiaStrong

Nearly 80,000 brain tumors are diagnosed in a single year and 32% of these are malignant, or cancerous. My year was 2019.

In 2019 I started to experience frequent throbbing headaches that lasted only seconds but felt like a lifetime, difficulty standing, days in bed from migraines, even numbness in my arm and leg. Instead of seeing a doctor, I stupidly chalked my symptoms up to being seasonal allergies, anxiety, or Lyme disease. In reality, I was one of those 32% of people...Grade III Anaplastic Astrocytoma - incurable.

Symptoms are never the same and research needs to continue. Please help spread the word about this very real and many times fatal sickness!

All we are asking from you is help by joining the team and walking the National Tumor Society Brain Tumor 5k Walk OR help us raise money for research by donating to our team. Any help you can provide is truly appreciated!

National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists! Please join in our effort
