Sam Garza
Hello, I'm Sam Garza, and I was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in September as I was working on finalizing residency applications during my fourth year of medical school. Wild, unexpected turn of events. I originally went into medicine after my younger sister was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2014, and she continues to be in remission today. My own brain cancer diagnosis continues to be a lot to process and it feels like I'm just showing up to treatment and going through the motions at times, but the only way out is through, and I can't wait to be on the other side. Taking life one day at a time. Thanks again for all of your generous donations!
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. Please join in my effort!
