Welcome to My Personal Page
Ted Lasso is one my favorite characters on TV. He believes in when others doubt. I continue to defy the odds when they are against me. 2016 and 2019 I had 2 brain surgeries. Radiation. Chemo. I take medications to prevent seizures. I started a device to called Optune, a device to disrupt cell division to keep the bad cancer cells to replicating. I am using infusion treatments such as Avastin to keep the tumor from spreading. Due to radiation necrosis I am learning to take physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
Despite the odds, I completed and defended my dissertation in January 2018 to become a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. I have steps to go to become licensed. I will get there. The meantime is the goal is awareness of brain tumors. No tumors are alike! Your support means everything. BELIEVE!

National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
