Welcome to the Keep Moving; No Regrets Page for the Denver National Brain Tumor Society Walk
The Bornstein Family is uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. We are passionate about this cause, so we are taking action.
In July 2020, Ira was diagnosed with glioblastoma. To learn more about our journey visit-- https://sandrabornstein.com/for-glio/.
We are extremely grateful that Ira has been able to maintain his quality of life. To celebrate Ira's August birthday, our family gathered in Summit County, Colorado to enjoy the outdoors. The picture on this page was taken after one of our mountain hikes.
Due to the inherent nature of glioblastoma, we realize that Ira's situation can change and that most glioblastoma patients are not as fortunate. Glioblastoma is an extremely aggressive cancer. According to the latest statistics, most people pass away within 12-18 months of their diagnosis.
In addition to a plethora of lifestyle choices, Ira lives by the daily motto—Keep Moving; No Regrets.
We need your help in this fight.
National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in our family's effort!
We welcome people residing in the metro Denver area to join us at Sloan Lake for the NBTS walk on September 17 and would greatly appreciate donations from others.
We thank you in advance for your support.
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
