Hi Family and Friends,
As you all know, or now know, I was diagnosed with a Grade III Anaplastic Astrocytoma on Halloween 2011. What does that mean? It means have been battling brain cancer for over 10 year through an awake craniotomy, chemotherapy and radiation. My story is a GREAT one...I am still here to talk about it, help others through mentoring programs, and to show that with some luck, love, support and positive belief I continue to endure through many side effects and unknowns with a smile! If you would like to learn more about my journey, please visit: https://cancerofthebrainnotofthemind.com/
In a constant effort to try to help those smarter than me to find a cure, my next even is the New England Brain Tumor Walk. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action as many times as I can, and I need your help in this fight.
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research and advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
