Always for Kate

Please join team ALWAYS FOR KATE as we raise much needed funds for Brain Tumor Research in loving memory of our daughter KATIE BEDNAREK.

Katie was diagnosed with a DIPG brain stem tumor on Sept 18, 2013 at the start of her senior year of High School. She passed away on Feb 11, 2015 after a graceful, inspiring and brave 17 month battle with brain cancer at the age of 19 years old. Katie NEVER gave up HOPE and lived each day for the next. Katie participated in 2 Race for Hope events and asked that we continue participation in her memory. Race day is special day for our family as we are continually surrounded by those that loved Katie and even many who never had the chance to meet her but are so supportive and come year after year.

Please come together with friends, family, neighbors, Lockheed Martin co-workers, and Cherokee Highschool friends to honor the Brave Beautiful Brilliant spirit that Katie shared with all of us. This is the 12th Anniversary of Team Always for Kate's participation in the Race For Hope and we are super excited to be able to join together in person this year at the new location at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken NJ on SUNDAY October 13th.

Please join the team early to allow plenty of time for you to do your own fundraising and earn some incredible incentive gifts for yourself. Or Please help us by donating so that we can make a difference and help find a cure for Brain Cancer, so that another young person or their family and friends will never have to experience what Katie endured.

Kate is missed so very much. Please help us in keeping our promise to her by keeping her memory alive with your participation and donation.

Make a donation and / or join our team. GO TEAM ALWAYS FOR KATE!!!!!
