Welcome to My Personal Page
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action and need your help. The National Brain Tumor Society is making strides for a cure - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
My sister Carrie began this journey in her life in 2007 when her eye doctor picked up on her optic nerve showing to be bulged and told her she needed to go see a neurologist. After having an MRI she was diagnosed with a astrocytoma tumor stage 3 cancer, then at MD Anderson the tumor was removed. She lived her life each and everyday for the next 5 years free of tumor and cancer. Then in January of 2013 it all came back with a vengence as glioblastoma stage 4. Carrie lost the battle and passed away on March 14, 2014. This is our ninth year joining the walk since Carrie's passing. Its has been a fun way to get together with friends and family that we dont see throughout the year. This year we can walk 2022.
Thank You.
