Colorado Brain Tumor Walk & Race: Mrs. Shauna Williams

As many of you know my sweet son Cole was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 8- which was 8 years ago now. Cole has been through more than any young man should have to endure in a lifetime. I have created a team in honor of him to let him know how proud we are of his bravery and courage, and to celebrate his success. This year we also walk to celebrate my mom, Cole's Nana who is also a brain tumor survivor. Saying it out loud still seems surreal, but both my Mom (Dalinda) and Cole are living breathing reminders that God is good, and the power of positive thinking is profound.

There aren’t many days that go by that the memory of that day doesn’t sneak up on me. I know how very blessed we are and I thank God each and every day for our success story. So we will run, jog, and walk in honor of my son's and mom's success, for those who still have to fight the fight, and for those whose fight was just too great. I would love for you to join our team!
