These were moments that would have filled his heart

The intent in their eyes is him.

The joy, the love is him.

So competitive, dedicated, true.

Living on inside of them.

He is here.

As I watch,

His heart beats within mine. 

Solid, rapid beats. 

Stronger, more intense than just me.

Envisioning him peering across the field, the court, the track.

This is where I feel him.

Papa's grandchildren have athletic commitments on the same day as our Brain Tumor Walk this year. Imagine that! As a family, we have decided that Papa would not want them to miss, and would choose to support them in their passions. 

So this year we are uniting with others virtually to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. We are  passionate about this cause, so we are taking action.
