I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain cancer. As a 2 year survivor, I am aiming to raise more awareness for a disease I never even knew about or thought of until the day the doctors told me I had a softball sized brain tumor that was Grade 4, incurable cancer. I am blessed to have made it 2 years from diagnosis not without a lot of hard work and support by those that were able to help me. Most patients are given a 15 months prognosis, including children which breaks my heart the most. There is only one Standard of Care that the doctors can offer which is 33 radiation treatments and 6-12 months of chemotherapy and then you are set free to hope for the best with MRI's every other month. If and when it comes back there are very few options. The funding for this particular cancer is lacking and depending on private funds. Please help me in raising awareness!
