I am deeply passionate about this cause and am walking in honor of someone who has profoundly impacted my life—my beloved stepmother, Marija Bjegovich-Weidman.Marija's journey with Glioblastoma began in May 2023 and ended in May 2024. Her vibrant spirit, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others were evident throughout her life. As a dynamic woman who taught me the importance of confidence, intentionality, and resilience, Marija was more than just a stepmother; she was a mentor, a friend, and a beacon of light.Marija’s legacy is a testament to her dedication to nursing, education, and community service.
