Mindy's Mind Menders
Mindy's Mind Menders 2024
Family & Friends,
Welcome to Mindy’s Mind Menders! We are once again back at it.
This event is good for my heart. After all I've been through in the past and living with brain cancer, my surgery in 2020 and all the rehab I had to go through to get where I am today, it’s finally good to be back to the in-person race. (Check out my personal page for more details.) I’m reminded of my past struggles, thankful I’m here through everything, and ready to charge on with no limitations. However, not everyone can experience the same freedom. There are thousands of people who struggle to stay alive because of brain cancer.
We hope that in participating in this walk that we can raise more money to aide in the research towards finding a cure for brain cancer (and potentially other cancers as well). The day of the walk has been a time to really humble ourselves, thank God for our continued blessings, and pray for every tomorrow. A lot of us have been affected somehow by cancer - friends, family, co-workers, I think it's something we can all agree is a topic not to be taken lightly.
I have a very promising and hopeful future with my family, but others' futures may not be so hopeful. We'd like you to join us at the walk on Saturday, September 28th. If you are not able to attend the walk, please make a contribution to the NBTS. Whatever is possible for you. If prayers are all you can offer, that is a priceless gift. I appreciate each and every one of you and thank you for all your support!
Love,
Mindy, Tony and Evan
