Pinky & The Brain
My Name is Teresa, I have dealt with Migraines for 42 years . In January 2006 after the loss of my Mom my Migraines worsened. I was referred to a Neurologist to seek help for my Migraines. This is when I found out I have a Tumor in my lower left brain. I was told by the Doctor that this could be what was causing the Migraines. I was being treated with different types of medications but they did not work. Due to a weak stomach and system I am unable to take strong medications. I have always believed in home remedies and this is what I tried most of the time for Migraines. They worsened through time and became intolerable. I even stopped going to the doctors for awhile until I took ill. I was seen by a Nero Surgeon Dr. David VanSickle who gave me two options. The Tumor had grown so I either had to have surgery to take it out or do the Gamma Knife Surgery. I chose to have the Gamma Knife Surgery which was with radiation to shrink the Tumor. I go back in December 2016 to see my results. The Migraines are still there but not as bad. Please join me on the walk, June 4, 2016 7:30 - 12 noon or if you can send donations as well. Thank you all for supporting Me and all my Colleagues.
