Georgia Brain Tumor Walk & Race

Sheena's Safari

We are honored you have joined us in celebrating Sheena’s courageous brain tumor journey. This year marks 10 years since the disease took her life. The team name Sheena’s Safari pays tribute to her zest for life and adventure. And also to her first home. Sheena was born in Africa and lived there with her family for many years before they moved to America. The word “safari” translates to “journey” in Swahili.

While we have seen amazing advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and survivability of many other cancers, the statistics for brain tumor patients remain relatively unchanged for the last 30 years. More needs to be done. We need your help. Please consider joining team Sheena’s Safari, walk or run with us and come together with others affected by this disease. If you cannot join us, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help the National Brain Tumor Society achieve its mission of conquering and curing brain tumors – once and for all. No donation amount is too small.

We look forward to seeing you (in person or virtually) at the 2nd annual Georgia Brain Tumor Walk & Race at the Battery- Atlanta, GA on May 11, 2024!

Warmest regards from Sheena’s family,

Rajan & Priti Doshi, Kunali Doshi & Tushar Patel, and many of her loving aunts, uncles and cousins
