Mike's Personal Page
Hello All! As you may be aware, I am a brain cancer survivor and will be celebrating 11 years since my initial diagnosis! What an accomplishment! Living and loving it!
I was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma at 29 and went through radiation and chemotherapy for over a year. I feel so lucky that the cancer was caught at stage 3 and the tumor shrank by over 50% post-treatment. I also haven't had a seizure in over 5 years!
I couldn't have done this without the support of my family and specifically my beautiful wife Gina. Thank you for your constant support and push to get me through this every day!
I walk to help others, like me, to receive the best treatment/care possible and to one day find a cure to this terrible disease that has struck too many good people around the world.
Please visit my page and hopefully you can join me at the walk in Asbury Park on May 11th or donate to a great cause!!!
Best Regards,
Mike
