Welcome to My Personal Page
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
As many of you know, in the fall of 2015 my younger sister Jill was diagnosed with a brain tumor (type: anaplastic astrocytoma) which was surgically removed. She then underwent months of radiation therapy and chemotherapy, all while having twin toddlers to keep up with! Through it all she was inspiring with her positivity.
The great news is that there has been no regrowth since the last surgery. Jill is now being treated with immunotherapy with the goal of keeping the tumor from regrowing and so far it has been working! I would like to personally thank all of you who have shown support to Jill by bringing food, babysitting the boys, providing rides, etc. and also for lending a caring, open ear for not only Jill, but the entire family. It means the world to all of us.
There is still work to be done. Jill always said that the National Brain Tumor Society was a wonderful resource in educating herself and in navigating through her illness. My family was blessed with so much support from loved ones and blessed with a positive result. Supporting the NBTS is a small way I can show my gratitude.
Thank you so much for your support! <3
