Welcome to My Personal Page
In 2020 we lost my brother Howie at age 40 to Glioblastoma. Diagnosed in June of 2018 at the age of 38 with what started out as a headache turned into 2 craniotomy’s, 32 radiation treatments and 6 months of chemotherapy.
Howie fought an 18 month battle in total and we sadly lost him on New Year’s Day of 2020.
Howie lit up every room he entered, his laugh was contagious. Howie loved to fish, loved his job, his dog Chloe a GSD, but most of all loved to help people. Howie had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back, which is how I came up with the team name #HowiesHeart.
Brain tumors and brain cancer do not care how old or how young you are.
We need to raise awareness for better treatment options. We need more studies done to not only help with a cure but to figure out the root cause.
In Howie's honor, we are uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors and aggressive forms of brain cancer.
We walk for those we lost, those warriors who are fighting and the caretakers.
I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight.
National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort and in Honor of Howie!
