New Jersey Brain Tumor Walk

Team Esther

As many of you may know, on February 3, 2023 our dear mother, grandmother, wife and friend, Esther Stone, was taken from this world too soon after a 16 month battle with Glioblastoma.  Glioblastoma is a horrific, aggressive brain cancer with no cure and very little treatment.  Esther's illness brought the hardest days imaginable for her and her loved ones.  We miss her terribly and forever hold her in our hearts.

TEAM ESTHER began with Esther's daughter, Jaime; her husband, Dave; their children, Dylan and Brendan; and Esther's beloved husband, Shel.  They are now being joined by Esther and Shel's dear friends, Linda and Nat Willner, who also feel very strongly for Esther and the Stone Family.  Linda attended Fort Lee High School with Esther and remained close friends with her for almost 60 years!

TEAM ESTHER will be participating in the National Brain Tumor Society Walk in New Jersey on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in memory of our dear Esther.  By participating in this Walk, we are uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against all brain tumors.  During her illness, Esther felt it was important to raise awareness as this horrific disease can affect anyone at any time.  We will walk in her honor in our own efforts to raise awareness as she wished.  The National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done.  Please help support TEAM ESTHER and the fight against Glioblastoma and all other brain tumors.  No donation is too small!

To our Esther: It will be our first Mother’s Day without you. Our hearts are heavy but we hope you are smiling with peace and pride. We love you forever.
