New Jersey Brain Tumor Walk

Abbu

Hello Everyone,

As many of you may know, we lost a piece of our heart on October 29, 2017 when Allah decided to welcome our Abbu into Heaven. He was taken away from us way too soon in a short span of four months by an incurable primary brain tumor: Grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma. He fought vigorously with a smile on his face every single day through the intense radiation and chemotherapy. He was never aware of his prognosis which gave him high hopes for recovery, so he could enjoy life again. He was a man of few words and few friends, but he had the kindest and most honest soul. He was true to his family and cherished the immense love and support system he had during his last few days. To honor his memory and to fight to make sure no son, daughter, sister, wife, mother or family ever experiences the pain from losing someone from this disease one hopeful day; Noshin, Summaiya, Saba, Sahir & Sakib will be walking on Saturday, May 9th at Asbury Park, NJ at 1PM.

Let’s get together to remember our sweet Abbu who enjoyed spending his Sunday’s in the summer participating in most community-based support walks for diabetes, cancer, etc. Let’s help raise life-saving funds for a cancer free world. This is our third year doing the walk and each year the walk means more to us. We truly appreciate all the support we have received every year from everyone.

If you cannot join us at the walk, please follow the link below and think about donating. Every penny counts!
