This Spring Break, while on vacation in Anna Maria Island, Landon had a seizure. He was immediately taken to the hospital for imaging, and they found a mass on his brain. Once he was able to come home, the Shanklin family had a follow-up consultation at CHOP where the medical team determined Landon is in need of surgery to remove the mass and extensive post-surgical therapy. Needless to say, his family is devastated by this news.

To know Landon is to love him. He's quick with a smile and a polite greeting. Whether he's behind the plate or playing lockdown corner, Landon gives 100%. He's tough, resilient, and possesses a positive attitude in everything he does, so we all know he is built for this fight. He’s Shank Strong!
