Welcome to My Personal Page
In September 1998 we lost our mother, Catherine Rorke, to glioblastoma. She was 72 and still had a lot of living to do. In August 2019 my brother George lost his battle with the same type of tumor. And earlier this month my nephew Tom Rorke lost his valiant fight. Our family has been devastated by this disease and we miss each of them dearly.
Today is Glioblastoma (GBM) Awareness Day, a day to support those living with glioblastoma and their loved ones, to remember those who are no longer with us, and to honor brain tumor legislative champions, hero scientists, clinicians, researchers, and all the patients, families, and supporters working toward a cure and better quality of life for those who are living with this devastating disease.
Through fundraising and research our hope is that other families will have more time together and hopefully one day there will be a cure.
On October 1st we will be participating in a walk at Jones Beach NY to support this cause. If you can we would love for you to join us or please donate to this cause that is so dear to us so that other families can have more time.
Thank you! Go Team WALK FOR RORKE!!!
