ANNALISE'S STORY...

In July 2018, 11-year-old Annalise Piano went for a routine eye exam. An MRI was ordered the next day and within 24 hours, Annalise was having emergent surgery to remove a brain tumor. Right from the initial diagnosis, Annalise chose to remain POSITIVE.

Although her surgery was a success, Annalise experienced side effects including 7th nerve palsy on one side of her face, double-vision, and other issues related to coordination. For more than five months, she worked hard in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The hard work continues to reward her -- now 17 yrs old, Annalise is looking in to a career in cardiology and exploring her college options!

Annalise makes the conscious choice to give back. Upon the first anniversary of her surgery, Annalise created her own team of 41 members, “Positive Party,” to walk in the Long Island Brain Tumor Walk in September 2019. Since then, Team Positive Party has raised more than $8,000 for the National Brain Tumor Society. Annalise has bravely given a survivor speech at both the 2019 and 2022 events, sharing her message with over 1500 attendees.

Annalise is an inspiration and truly shows us the POWER OF POSITIVITY on a daily basis. She has been fortunate to overcome many of the obstacles resulting from her brain tumor. Annalise's is one of the best case scenarios. For many others, the fight is much more significant and daunting.

We want to help find a cure.

Please join us in the fight against brain tumors and

be a part of the
