Please Join Us in Supporting Brain Tumor Research and Advocacy
If you can, please join me and other members of Batala Washington to support brain tumor patients and their families by donating to the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS).
Batala Washington lost two of our beloved percussion playing sisters -- Susan Burgerman and Sonalee Asim -- to brain cancer in less than two years. We are grief stricken but committed to taking action.
Batala Washington will perform on May 5 for NBTS's Race for Hope DC. Event participants, including runners, walkers and performers, are raising funds to support brain tumor research and improve the quality of patients' lives.
