Race For Hope DC

Powerhouse

Mom's diagnosis was the first time I had ever heard of a glioblastoma. Now, sadly, I am so versed in it, I refer to it by its nickname, GBM. When Isaak and I formed a "team" last year, I still felt like I was on this island of horror almost alone. I was originally under the impression that this was a rare thing. My impression has drastically changed since then. So many have come forward with their stories of loss due to GBM, and two dear friends lost their dads to it last year; one of those men had been my boss and friend as well.

For those reasons, our team has almost tripled in size. We walk/run/roll for your loved ones, too. We're honored to hold them, and you, on May 5th, and speak their names.

Thank you for all of the support so far! Your emotional and financial support has been tremendous!
