Welcome to My Personal Page
I've registered to fundraise for the National Brain Tumor Society's (NBTS) Race for Hope-DC because I'm passionate about the NBTS mission to conquer and cure brain tumors — once and for all.
I run in memory of Michael Kwinn III (https://friends4michael.org/), the inspirational son of two wonderful West Point classmates. I met him in September 2001, when his parents were on the USMA faculty and staff. The following March, an MRI detected a brain tumor. But courageousy, Michael built a team -- Friends4Michael -- for the Race for Hope, participating in 2002 and 2003 and inspring others to join him. Less than a month later, we lost him -- he was only 14 years old. But members of the USMA Class of 1984 have taken this one one personally, and have been involved ever since -- racing against brain tumors.
NBTS needs your support. No donation is too small. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of those living with a brain tumor. Thank you for your support and please consider tuning in as we honor this community on May 6.
