Welcome to My Personal Page
Uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors! I am passionate about this cause because of the impact it has had on my family over the past twelve years. On October 25, 2009, my Dad was diagnosed with brain cancer after finding a brain tumor. Over the following two years, he fought through numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and participated in clinical trials. He died fighting on November 8, 2011. My family continues the battle against brain tumors for him.
Over the past decade, brain tumors have continued to impact my family and friends. Most recently, one of my dear coworkers, Sarah was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May 2020 and passed away on December 30, 2021. Sarah was very passionate about her work and was one of the most kind and thoughtful people. Sarah's positivity and strength during her fight was such an inspiration.
We must continue the fight to end this disease once and for all! The National Brain Tumor Society is making strides for a cure - but more needs to be done. Please consider joining my effort by joining the Give Cancer the Boot team or making a donation.
We do it, For Pete's Sake (and now Sarah's)!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
