Welcome to My Personal Page
Welcome to my "I BELEIVE IN MIRACLES" fundraising page! For those who don't know, I formed Team Incredibles in 2012, just four months or so after my Stage IV Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) diagnosis. At the time, it was an outlet for my family, friends, and me to create something positive from a hopeless prognosis. My first race experience was absolutely magical, thanks in part to the now-banned yellow balloon release and the sight of thousands of walkers and runners - my family and friends among them - united on a mission to raise awareness and money to cure the disease that was predicted to claim my life in short order. Team Incredibles has participated in the Race for Hope-DC every year since then and has raised over $130,000, because we know MIRACLES HAPPEN! And we'll keep coming back to celebrate survival and inspire hope, to remember and honor our dear loved ones who lost their battles with this disease, and to continue to make strides in the race to conquer and cure brain cancer and brain tumors!”
After my diagnosis, I was blessed to have had access to the very best, specialized life-saving medical and scientific technology my condition required exactly when and where I needed it. The advancements that made this possible for me would not have been available had it not been for publicly and privately funded research; research that must continue until a cure for brain cancer is found.
Why not join our INCREDIBLE Tribe by supporting this worthy cause with your participation or sponsorship and help up spread hope to thousands of patients who need better options? We welcome all Incredible family...Incredible friends...Incredible fighters...Incredible believers...Incredible warriors...INCREDIBLE SURVIVORS!
We are, and will remain, incredibly grateful!
