In memory of my daughter Sydney, who inspired us all with her love, strength and courage.  She lost her battle to a brain stem glioma in August of 2005, but I am taking the fight against brain tumors beyond my daughter Sydney's.

I have been a strong advocate for brain tumor patients serving as a member of the board of directors of the National Brain Tumor Society.  This organization funds innovative research and helps patients advocate for themselves as well as public policy for all brain tumor patients.

The National Brain Tumor Society is a leader in brain tumor research, with collaborative efforts of getting the best in brain tumor research working together.   NBTS gets the best of the best researchers working together to help get therapeutic drugs to our children.
